Well this question came up in another thread so I thought I would make it a poll to see what people think. Now, our final decison will not neccessarily be the majority decison. I think if most everybody can meet at 9:00 but there are a couple of guys who need 8:00 then we meet at 8:00. No one gets left behind. Well, unless its something unreasonable.
PS-If you want to meet at a time in between the choices, such as 8:30, just round down. So you would round down to 8.

Thats going to really suck becasue we will be doing high miliage and double runs twice a week. So thats gunna blow running alone. And as far as my opinion on the time to run, I think 9 should be the latest, but I would be willing to go earlier if people need to. But also, if we get a group of people that can't run in the mornings at all, they could go together at a later time of the day, but we'll see.

im in for 8, im an early guy so that doesnt matter to me, but if you go to much after 9 your cutting into the day, cuz i dont know about you guys but after a harder run if i slow down any time during the day afterwards it definitly means nap time. but for me if i do it early i can avoid that

Yeah i say early like 8 or 830 if possible. It leaves almost the whole day free
But i understand if people dont want to get up that early

8:00 would be perfect because it's not too early in the morning but still early enough to allow time to get to work.( Plus it's not as hot.) ;D

Last summer we did a mix of 8:00, 9:00, and sometimes 10. We dont have to run at the same time every day, but that range seems to be the best. Additionally, there are some days that are more important to do with a group ie. negative split, steady state, so we can set these at an earlier time if we need to. And hey! its summer, no homework, so you should be able to get to sleep early enough to run at 7 or 8 now and then.

And hey! its summer, no homework, so you should be able to get to sleep early enough to run at 7 or 8 now and then. Actually Dan, we have quite a bit of Calculus homework to do. But ya, I hear what your saying. A range would be good. On the harder/longer workout days earlier would be better, but on an easy 35 minute day, later could be ok. But also guys, we have to consider that once we hit July 25th some people will be doing double workout days twice a week. On those days it will definatly be important to run early so we have some chill time before we have to run at night. But we can worry about that when the time comes. Anyway, I voted for 8, because it gives you more time in the day, and even if you stay up untill midnight you still get almost 8 hrs of sleep. And out of curiosity who voted for 6AM? Were you serious?

Since that was how we did it tonight, I voted that we should go at night most of the time. Plus, it felt much nicer than the 3.5 run that we did on the summer solstice (wonder who that was from...??). Just kidding, Stevo, I'm as much to blame because I didn't pick up on it either. Oh well...that" death-run" is over, so i'll just "toss it to the wind." P.S. Let's NOT EVER DO THAT AGAIN. Thanks!!
