Thanks to teh hottest study hall teacher ever, I got a sneak peak at teh schedule this summer.
This "elite" schedule is for everyone going into junior and senior years(sorry flint) and is probably teh hardest prescribed summer sully has given. Here's a general 411.....
Training will start a week earlier than usual now, so we only have a week of off and on running before we start.
Week number 1 and week number 2 are the same thing......47 miles about, to give you an idea, the last 2 years of elite running scedules have ended us around 57 a week.
We start double sessions on July 25th. 30 - 35 minutes, I will use this for my barefoot training.
We end the summer with a 67 mile week, with double sessions that means about 73. I like it. Jamie said taht that is just liek his 2.
Make sure you are at Thursdays meeting, that way top 10s can discuss when, where and such. Not to mention barefoot running and nasal breathing ideas.
See you there!

I don't know about anybody else, but I don't care how early or late I have to run to escape the heat. Workouts would have been much more enjoyable if it wasn't 100 degrees out.

Patience will make teh first weeks of running seem fun, then the middle weeks might suck a little, but the last ones will be bareable.

Good article, I like how he expanded on all his main ideas from the first article.
