last time i checked school was definitly out and that also includes any responsiblity to make my writing correspond with any of the standard english rules

my resting heart rate the past two mornings has been 52 and 53. I kind of doubted the accuracy of it the first time, but then the second day it was only 1 beat higher.

just to share some recently learned college xc wisdom:
checking your heartrate after waking up by alarm is useless. take 5 minutes during the day (maybe 5 minutes before practice), lay down somewhere quiet, and then check it. do this same thing everyday at (roughly) the same time. thats going to be more accurate.
also, for those who dont know, as you get into better and better shape, your resting heart rate will continue to descend. if it goes up, youre overtraining and/or getting sick.
for the curious souls. my resting HR was 51 yesterday and 52 today. i just used a HR monitor for the first time during yesterdays workout. it was great.
