i never bad mouthed them...i just wasnt my place to use one, as they were QHS property....
ive always been into heart rates and that technical side of running...it fascinates me to see why someone goes fast (besides balls).

Just thought I'd share: When I got my ankle x-rayed the other day, they took my pulse and it was like 52 or 54. Then the next time I went I had gotten very little sleep the night before, like less than 5 hours maybe. They took my pulse then and it was like 74. So I guess lack of sleep really rasies your heart rate.

when was the second time you went? i mean...if the first time is in season, and the second time is post-season, of course its gonna be lower.
also...is it possible that you peaked early, do you think> because i know that after youve peaked, your resting heart rate increases signficantly fairly quickly.

They were like within a week of each other. One was right before Feds, and one right after. It had nothing to do with peaking. I didn't even have a peak this year.

Actually, I kinda noticed that with most of the team, with the exception of Tom(who was injured at the begining of the year.) I mean, if you look at our Sectionals times(before my achilles really started getting to me) they arn't much faster than QBY Invy at all. Actually, in some cases they are the same or slower. I know we weren't training to peak at Sectionals, but I feel like we should have had some improvement. And for the most part we didn't get much faster at States or Feds either. It makes me wonder what we could have done wrong? These are questions you non-senior guys should be thinking about for next year. Because it was definatly a great season, but there was no noticeable peak, and with a better peak, that would give you guys a better shot at States and Sectionals next year.
