newell, morning runs are for varsity level, and and upper level JV guys who have been doing doubles all summer. i dont mean to sound like douche but if you havent been doing doubles, it isnt a good idea to start now.

yea newell, proboly a good idea to talk to Sully- usually doubles are for juniors and seniors. Matt Flint didnt even do doubles his sophomore year. And the doubles aren't just fun runs, they are for people who did high milage all summer and are trying to keep their mileage high throughout the season

Aaron I'd agree with the rest of these guys. If you've never done doubles before now isn't the time to start. You've got enough at this point with making the transition into more mileage and workouts so adding doubles in there would make it tough while you're also trying to race every weekend. These other guys have been doing doubles all summer so it's nothing extra, just continuing with what they've already been doing. Plus they're probably doing a bit less mileage now than they were in the summer where you are probably doing more. Just my opinon anyway.
I like the ambition though that you wanted to do them. Take that to the workouts and you'll have a good season.
