Since the summer has begun for us college guys, I am running for the next two weeks just 45-60min runs easy at about 9-9:30am unless my work schedule interferes, but if anyone cares to join let me know. Condor I know is with me on that schedule until he starts work. But in general, its a new summer and a new season to rest your hopes and dreams upon, time to work hard

How many miles per week is everyone thinking about putting in this summer?

I plan to be up to 70 by July. This summer should be interesting for you, Flint, since its super mega short. All I can say is be careful with building mileage after track ends. Freshman year can kick your ass.

Yeah I know I'm thinking that I'm going to build up to mid 80's I got up to 78 for two weeks this track season so I figured hat would be a good transition

Assuming I start running reasonably soon I'll be shooting for somewhere around 110 this summer give or take depending on how I feel. And Brian, I couldn't tell if that was serious? 90 miles would probably be too much for you at this point if you only hit 70's last summer. I'd shoot for more around 80ish. Don't want to get injured your senior year. Trust me, it's no fun.

Oh, haha. In that case 90's sounds perfect. And Brian I only said 80's for you cause you were saying 90's, but really IMO stick to the 70's.

Steve, 110 miles per week is about 15.5 miles per day. That sounds like alot to me. Around two? hours per day give or take a half hour. Bad Idea? ??
