Guys, apparently they close this at 11,000 runners so sign up now before we miss it. Me and Sean are still looking into how we can register as a team, not sure about that yet...actually, we're not sure if we're supposed to sign up all at once as a team, or if we are supposed to do it individually. Looking into that all now. But first of all, post here if you want to run this thing for Veritas. And if you want to sign up now to secure your spot the link is below. www.active.com/event_detail.cfm?event_id=1340034

Which day is the 15k actually for??? It says Sat the 7th and Sun. the 8th. I'm not sure if that kind of race would be good for me that close to just getting back into training, but I'll talk to the coaches.

And your brother was supposed to call today and look into the whole team thing...but uh, he didn't do that so you can yell at him or something.

ahes working from 5-8 so i dont think he had time to between practice, he might tonight, i'll remind him. Colin shannon your wicked fast, you can go sub 40 min.
edit: you see the only thing wrong steve is that its smack dab in the middle of our 2 weeks off
starts - June 2 ends - June 16
i would do it anyway but it would prob hurt me to take the days off then run a 15k

I'm still deciding between this and the distance run. I'm leaning towards the distnce run though.

I'm still deciding between this and the distance run. I'm leaning towards the distnce run though. Why the Distance Run? First of all, we are trying to do this as a team (apparently there is a team competition) and secondly there is like no comp in the Distance Run. Most likely there will be a mile between the guy in front of you and the guy behind you...you'll be stuck in the middle alone. That is a big reason I want to do the Boilermaker vs the Distance Run, more comp (aka actually people to run with) and people you can actually compare yourself to.

sorry guys, I dont think I will be running it, at least not seriously. There is a good chance that I will only have about 2 weeks of 35-40 miles a piece, so I dont think it would be a good idea to run the boilermaker, especially after getting over an injury I never want to have again.
