I am not sure how hard all you race, but when I do I don't even want to look at food for at least an hour after i am done.

i dont think that has anythign to dow ith how hard you race, just you, after some of my hardest races, first thing i grab is food

and jbo last time i checked the adirondack distance run is not the world championships, its just a fun summer run. but im the same way after an xc race or during track i dont wanna eat for a while even after sunday long runs but cmon its ice cream

my mom said there was an article in the paper about the run, 700 people expected, thats pretty sweet and it will be teague's 1000th race also an impressive number

its in the june issue of the Adirondack Sports and Fitness paper, its the one that lists all the 5ks and other cool sports stuff it comes out once a month

for some reason i have this memory of there being a team competition at the ADR...could be wrong, but if there is one, we could throw together a hell of a team. if steve, jer, jared, me, and tom did it, thats probably 5 people in the top 35...better than any other team could do i think...someone should look into it. maybe i will.

yeah, i just checked...it says to 'contact the adirondack runners for team applications' and that teams must be 'adirondack association members only' which could be arranged. whats everyone think

That would be pretty sweet. Jamie get us one of those applications if you can. Basically all of us are already Adirondack Runners members so that shouldn't be a problem.
