its just a sunday long run....almost faster and it hurts way more That is a good point, we run longer than this on our Sunday runs. No one says it has to hurt a ton. You could just do it at a fast tempo pace. You know, just a little faster than conversation pace. I mean if you think about it we get down to 7 min pace on our long Sunday runs and we are talking the whole way. So you should be able to run at least 7 min pace without killing yourself.

Sean, I didn't run it last year unfortunatly. But there are some really fast girls out there in the longer distances. Think about Mrs. Prevencher(sp?) She could kick any of our asses in a marathon. And Kev, get your head out of your ass and get your priorities straight. You know running comes before family, fun, sleep, food, etc. Come on.

my PR is just under 64...ive never really been in top shape for it, but that still got me 30th out of like 650 or something.
its the hardest race any of you have ever done, i promise. but its totally worth it.
this'll be my 5th year doing it....crazy.

It will be my first time, and I don't think Im going to run so well considering I will have been training for only like 3 days before it.

yeah if you go to the adirondack runners web page and click on the race link they have an elevation chart for the course, from that my only tip is dont go out to fast or you;ll be f**ked cuz your running the first 3miles uphill
