i heard there's a nice little street in Glens Falls, we should go explore it sometime. I'm pretty sure they called it south street edit: Oh wait i remember, that's where i first met Neal... That's also where me and Jared ended up when we got lost for 2 hours that one Sunday run.

Our trails are great. Most places in the country have no trail systems (since you need trees, which are pretty uncommon in large quantity in most places). What we got sure as hell beats running around farms, which is actually the norm most places.
About our trails: the stuff up on the mountain is essentially limitless: those systems feed into each other and go farther back than you would want to run in one day.
About behind the school: the trails are not as complicated nor large as their reputation suggests. I took a few long runs last summer with the single goal of "Getting lost out behind the school." I literally took every single trail you can take out there. There are only 2 or so main loops, all the other trails that branch out either go nowhere, connect back, or (more often than not) feed into a neighborhood. That said, I'd say there are a good 4 miles of trails back there that could be added on to the standard 3 miles of school trails, maybe a mile more if your crafty. Also, since there are so many exit trails, it's a great place to cut through to get over toward the West Mountain trails and Gurney Lane/Butler.
There are VERY few places where you can do a 20 mile woods run and not hit the same trail twice. Queensbury is one of em. A good loop I intend to do this summer is the YMCA -> QBY -> Back trails -> up along Butler someway -> Potter -> Cole's Woods and done.
All that being said, I love Potter to death, we need that place. It's like the heart that beats life into running in QBY. Also, there are a good amount of trails back in Potter that are runable that aren't part of the standard loops (Kate is a good example). Explore em, they're fun.
